On December 4, 2025, CANCAP GLOBAL Co., Ltd., led by Kelvin Mo, adviser of CANCAP in cooperation with the Cambodian Oknha Association (COA), led by Hun Lak, secretary general of COA, organized a roundtable discussion on Quebec (Canada) enterprise reference systems for animal traceability.
The reference systems were presented by Marc Doucet, who shared Quebec’s technology, best practices, and experience in animal traceability. In addition, Mayono Guillermo, from Investissement Québec (Singapore office), introduced investment opportunities in Quebec and strategic partnership prospects.
The event featured an opening address by Christian DesRoches, Ambassador of Canada to Cambodia, and was chaired by Thida Kuon, Vice President of COA.
This roundtable provided an important platform for knowledge exchange and cooperation between Quebecois (Canada) and Cambodian stakeholders on animal traceability and agri-food standards.
In September 2024, CANCAP coordinated the visit of a Cambodian delegation led by H.E. Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and Chair of the Cambodian Development Council. The delegation was accompanied by members of the Cambodian Oknha Association and prominent Canadian investors. The visit aimed to strengthen international economic partnerships between Cambodia and Canada.
In January and March 2025, CANCAP coordinated the visit of a Canadian-Chinese and Chinese business delegation to Cambodia. The delegation met with key government ministries to explore investment opportunities in several sectors, including conservation agriculture, affordable housing for local communities, microfinance, and carbon credit initiatives.
In May 2025, a CANCAP representative participated in the Inter-Chamber Cocktail of the Asia-Pacific Region, aiming to expand CANCAP’s network and foster stronger connections across countries in the region.
